Description: A melodious and colourful Annual Concert entitled “A FANTASIA” was presented by the student of Primary and Junior Sections, Loreto Convent , Ranchi on 12th, 13th and 14th October, 2012.
The musical extravaganza commenced with a graceful dance proclaiming the glory and benevolence of our Lord Almighty, the author of this wonderful creation. A fun-filled frolic and caper ‘AT THE ZOO’ was the next musical rendition by the tiny-tots of classes Pre-Prep. Prep and One followed by a poem and song in Hindi emphasizing the need to protect the trees, to preserve the environment and live in harmony with nature. Yet another enchanting trip to ‘THE LAND OF MAKE-BELIEVE’ awaited the enthusiastic audience transporting them to a picturesque and musical world, enjoying the delightful company of mermaids, dolphins, gypsies and their favourite fairy-tale characters like Cindrella and the Sleeping Beauty.
The two-hour long entertainment programme finally came to an end with the solemn words and lilting music of the Loreto Chorus. Indeed, ‘FANTASA ‘ was a perfect musical and visual treat.
