Description: A Special Assembly was organized by the members of JPIC to pray for the safe release of Judith De’souza.
Judith De’souza is a past pupil of Loreto Day School, Sealdah. She has been working with an NGO- The Aga Khan Foundation in Kabul since July. She was abducted by suspected militants on June 16th. Till now there is no news of her whereabouts.
Loreto Schools all over India have started a campaign to ensure her early release. A petition was read out by Mrs. K. Kaur, which will then be signed by all the sisters, teachers and students of the school. This petition will then be sent to the Indian government requesting them to take necessary action to ensure that Judith returns home safe and sound.
