Description: The School’s Annual Sports Day was held on 22nd November, 2014. The event showcased the theme of MDG-Peace and Cultural harmony. The Chief Guest on the occasion was Bishop Theodore Mascarenhas sfx.
The event started with the March Past where the students marched smartly to the beat of the School band. This was followed by a Mass Drill by the students of VI to XII. The first item was a welcome dance by the students of Class XI titled “Shubharam”. The different classes enthralled the audience with their relays and class drills. The highlight of the display was the drill by VIII which displayed the MDG goals.
The programme finished with the students joining together to make the School crest. The Chief Guest awarded the prizes the winners in the different categories.
Gandhi House was adjudged the Best House.
Tagore House got the prize for the best March Past.
Anisha Tirkey got the prize for the best athlete in the junior category (VI-VII)
Ankita Kujur got the prize in the senior categories (VIII-X)
Shikha Vandana kujur won the prize for the best athlete for Class XI-XII.
