Description: The Annual Sports Day – 2017 was held on the 18th of November. Mr. Sushil Kumar Verma, State Coordinator (Jharkhand, SAI) was our chief guest.
The programme began with lighting of the Sports Flame, March Past by various houses. They concluded with the formation of LORETO 175 on the field Class XI and XII presented the ‘Welcome Dance’. Each Class presented a Class Drill.
X – Nagpuri Dance Jharkhand Ker Mati.
IX – 175 Years of Celebrating Womanhood in.
VIII – Glorious Loretoites Loreto.
VII – Kaliedoscope; Fan Drill.
VI – Pyramid & Karate and various interesting Relay.
VI – Band, Baja & Barat.
VII – Skipping Superstar.
VIII – 3-Legged- Hum Sath - Sath.
IX – Loreto’s Banner Fly High Showing Loreto in South Asia.
Students participated in 100 Mts., 200 Mts., 400 Mts., 800 Mts., Battle Relays, Throws & Jumps and 3 K.M. Walks.
Winners were awarded prizes and there were Special Prizes for :
Best Marching – Tagore House
Best Disciplined – Ashok House
Best Athlete (VI-VII) – Dayamani Murmu
Best Athlete (VIII-X) – Rose Rani Tigga
Best Athlete (XI-XII) – Neha Kerketta
Best House – Runner-up – Gandhi House
Best House – Best- Ashok House
Chief Guest thanked the Entire Loreto Community and motivated Parents & Students to take part in sports and other activities. He appreciated school for taking care of all around development of the students.
Sister Monica Rozario thanked God for making it possible to have sports. She thanked Fr. Ajit Xess Principal of SXD, Sr. Lily Principal from Mozarello School, and three Track judges Mrs. Tirkey Teacher of St. Francis, Mr.Gambhir Teacher of SXD, Mr. Chandan Kumar Teacher of St. Anthony. Sr. Thanked JAP Commandant Mr. Kumud for Band, A.G. For allowing Parking Dr. Gagender Kumar, Mecon Hospital, Teachers, Students and Parents.
