Description: Independence Day celebrations were organised in the school on 14th of August.The program began with the lighting of the lamp.The L.T.S group presented a special assembly depicting famous female personalities from different fields.
The houses were given different themes related to India’s freedom struggle.
Ashok House recaptured the events of the revolt of 1857.
Gandhi House traced the rise of Indian Nationalism that emerged after the partition of Bengal.
Shakespeare House showed the life of Mahatma Gandhi and his role in helping India to get freedom.
Tagore House show cased the Partition of India.The event was judged by Mrs.D.Roy,Mrs.R..Jha and
Ms.L.Tigga.
Gandhi House was judged as the best House.
