Description: The Annual Sports and P.T. Display of the Junior school Loreto Convent Ranchi was held on 5th December 2015.The programme was based on the theme 'Seasons of India',where all the students from class Pre-prep to class V participated with great enthusiasm.The Chief guest Mr.Sudesh Kumar Mahto, Ex Deputy Chief Minister of Jharkhand and other distinguished guests came to witness the programme.
The display began with the march past where the pupils of classes III,IV and V marched in unison in their respective four houses accompanied by the school Band. This was followed by the Mass Drill.
The drills were performed by the different classes which depicted a vivid picturesque view of the seasons of India.
'The Annual Miracle' depicting spring season was presented by the Primary school.
The girls of class II displayed 'Autumn in the Air' with the chinar leaves.
The students of class III showed different features of the monsoon season in 'The Monsoon Spectrum'.
The summer season was well presented by the energetic girls of class IV in a Hanky Drill-'Oh it's so hot!'.
Santa's visit to LCR was presented by the cheerful girls of class V with glittering hoops covering the message of christmas a time of celebration in Winter.
Besides the drills there were class Relays and reces (100 m; 200 m;400 m;4*100 m Baton Relay).
There was exquisite pyramid formations created by the young acrobats of classes IV and V.
Students of class V displayed the Martial Art skills.
The Grand Finale took place in 'Thank You' formation by all the girls.
The vote of Thanks was delivered by the Principal , Sr.Anjuman Gidh.
The programme concluded with National Anthem.
