Description: On the 12th of August the school organised a programme to commemorate the 71st Independence Day of India. The programme started with a prayer service conducted by LTS members who presented a skit on shaheed Bhagat Singh. This was followed by various House presentations. Ashok House depicted the life of Annie Besant. Then Shakespeare House performed on Raja Rammohan Roy, followed by Tagore House who enlightened us with the life of Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar. Then came up the Kalpana Chawla House who portrayed the life of Jyotiba Phule and Dayananda Saraswati’s life and contributions. At last the neutral captains performed a dance. The programme was concluded with a speech by Mrs. D. Roy followed by our Principal Sr. Monica’s inspiring words.
