Description: Labelling of the trees in the school campus was done by the girls of the Nature Club-Loreto Convent Ranchi under the project MDG-15 Goal-7. This consisted of placing on the Trees the Common name, the Botanical name and the Family name. This will make the children aware of the Botanical names and Families of the different trees because the common names are quite indefinite and restricted to the people of one language. The Botanical name is the internationally accepted names for a species and allows precise recognition anywhere in the world.
