Kishor Nagar, an Institute of Social and Educational Development which aims at helping the disadvantaged children to grow into good human beings who can find their place in society and live with dignity. A Christmas teachers empathy and the value of Charitable giving to others, girls took some eatables (Cakes, Biscuits, Chocolates), Stationary items (Pencils, Erasers, Sharpeners) and some woolen clothes for the 600 Children in the Institute to help them celebrate with joy and delight. We went around the campus with Fr. Louis Franken ( Director of the Institute ) and saw the Cowsheds,Dispensary with two nurses, coffee plants mango and guava trees which were taken care by the boys. The girls were touched to see the boys working on the vast fields, chopping vegetables and washing their own clothes. The boys of the institute played the musical instruments like keyboard, drum, guitar and sang christmas carols which brought a Christmas cheer. Before leaving, we wished each other Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. This Christmas Project taught the girls to be continued with what we have and always do our best to help others. They promised to grow into an ideal human being and give to the society what they have got abundantly from god, the Father.
