Description: To commemorate the bombing of Hiroshima,6th August is celebrated as World Peace Day every year. To mark this event the JPIC group organised many events.
A Hindi Speech Competition was organised for the students of classes VI to VIII . The topics allotted were “World Peace” for class VI, “World Peace and the role of Common man “ for class VII, “Terrorism” for class VIII .
The Speeches were judged by Mrs. Munzini , Mrs Prakash and Mrs. Kumari Rakhi. Each student was given a time of 3 minutes to express their views.
Shreya Mukherjee of class VII-C was judged the best speaker.Anshi Pandey of class VII-A stood second.The third place went to Mary Priyanka Ekka of class VIII-C.
The event ended with an inspiring by Mrs. Munzini.
